- Make ready 2 medium onions chopped
- Prepare 3 tomato chopped
- Prepare 1 tsp zeera whole
- Take 3 black cardamom
- Take 2 cinnamon stick
- Take 5-6 cloves (loung)
- Get 1 bay leave
- Make ready 1 pinch nutmeg powder
- Take 1 pince mace powder
- Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1/2 tsp coriander powder

- Get 1/2 cup oil
- Make ready Boiled Rice
- Prepare 1 kg basmati rice
- Prepare 2 tbsp oil
- Prepare 2 tbsp vinegar
- Prepare 2 tbsp salt
- Get 2 tbsp butter or Ghee
Steps to make Chicken Tikka Biryani:
- Take a pan add water and bring into boil.add salt and oil. Add soaked rice and vinegar. Bring rice to boil for at least 10 minutes till the rice is half cooked.
- Wash and clean the chicken drumsticks and cut them deeply.
- Take a bowl add water, vinegar and food colour and mix well. Dip the chicken drumsticks in the vinegar water for 2 hours.
- Take a bowl add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, lemon juice and all dry spices and mix well.
- Apply the mixture all over the chicken drumsticks and inside the cuts as well.
- Take a karahi add oil and marinated chicken drumsticks and fry till light golden brown colour.
- Add green chilli, green coriander leaves and mint leaves and cook for 5 minutes for low heat. - Take a piece of coal and place in an aluminium foil cup and add some drops of oil. Place it in the middle of chicken and cover the lid. Give this steam for 10 minutes.
- Cut the onion and tomatoes.
- In the same karahi add oil fry the onion till light golden brown colour. Then add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Add 1/2 cup of water and cover.
- Add all dry spices and leftover of the chicken drumsticks masala and cook until the water is dried.
- Once the masala is cooked fully add green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Now boil the rice and add layers of masala in between. Place the chicken drumsticks on the top most layer. Cover with lid and give dum for 20 minutes.
- Chicken Tikka Biryani is ready to serve.
