Instructions to make White chocolate Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Sift the dry ingredients.
- Cream the butter with powdered sugar and then add all the wet ingredients.
- Mix the dry ingredients onto the wet mixture
- Bake for 30-40 mins at 170 degrees or until the toothpick pricked in the centre comes out clean.
- Once cooled,slice into 3 layers using bread knife.
- Ganache preparation:Warm the cream and add the chocolate chips and stir until the chocolate melts. Strain and allow it to cool. - NOTE: you can add any food colour to it. I have added pink and yellow seperately and used together to give an ombre effect.
- Frosting preparation:Method: - Beat the whipping mix with milk until stiff peaks.
- ASSEMBLY: - 1. Take each slice,brush sugar syrup, add whipped cream,cherry jam. - 2.Repeat for all the layers and cover the cake with remaining frosting and chill in freezer for 10mins. - 3.Add the coloured ganche.wipe the sides and decorate the cake with a piping bag.
