  1. Heat oil in a kadhai.Add in chopped onions and saute till they turn golden.
  2. Grind together garlic, green chillies and ginger to a coarse paste using some water.
  3. Take chicken pieces in a bowl.Add salt,1 teaspoon red chilli powder,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,1 teaspoon garam masala powder and 1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala and mix well.Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Add ground paste to the pan,mix well and saute for a minute.
  5. Add remaining pav bhaji masala, remaining red chilli powder, remaining turmeric powder,cumin powder, coriander powder and remaining garam masala powder,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add in marinated chicken, chopped tomatoes and plain yoghurt,mix well and cook.Add salt,give a nice stir and cook on high heat for a minute.Cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes or till the chicken is fully done.
  7. Now take a bowl and add prepared rice in it and finally top it up with prepared masala chicken.
  8. Garnish it with lemon wedges and masala papad.
